Custom banner and background images are simple to add into Blueball Apex.

As you can see by the display of the custom banner image above and the custom page background image, you can easily add in your own custom banner and page background images to any site page in a Blueball Apex Sandvox site by simply pasting in some code we provide you into either the Site Code Injection or Page Code Injection window.

Your banner images can be any height.

While the banner image width must be 1200px wide, if you want a custom banner image that is 50px tall or 500px tall or more, the height you use is completely up to you, and will not have any negative impact on how your site is displayed on desktop AND mobile devices. By default there is no banner image displayed in the Blueball Apex design, but one can be added by following the directions in the customizing_blueball_apex_v1.pdf user guide.

How to add a custom banner or full screen page background image to your site page

Like our Blueball Simplex and Blueball Reactive designs, the Blueball Apex design uses one of two new options to add in custom banners and page backgrounds to your Sandvox site. Both are extremely easy to do, but VERY different than what has been done in the past on Sandvox sites. By default there is no banner image displayed initially on any Blueball Apex site page, and there are no banner images included in any Blueball Apex design's Contents folder to display as the default banner image.

We host 16 custom banner and page background images for you to place into your Blueball Apex site pages.

We have uploaded a variety of custom banner and page background images to our secure AWS (Amazon Web Services) account for you to call and display in your Blueball Apex design layout on a site-wide or page-by-page basis. This requires you to add a bit of custom code for the banner and page background images using either Page Code Injection or Site Code Injection, depending on how you plan to use your banner and background images. You can have a single banner image on all your site pages or have different banner images on each site page if you want. Same for you rpage background images too.

You can also easily add your own custom banners and page backgrounds into your site pages too.

You can upload your own folder of custom banner and page background images to your server directory and link to them as well on a site-wide or page-by-page basis. We provide detailed instruction in our user guides for adding banner and page background images into Blueball Apex, and are happy to help you out on this if needed.
